Getting involved
Eating for Scotland is good for our health, good for the economy and good for the environment. It's easy to do and the more people get involved, the more pressure there will be on retailers to open their doors to Scottish produce. Consumer power can change buying policy so please get involved. You can follow the experiment on the Five Thirty Show on STV. Better still, try the experiment yourself by switching to an all Scottish diet for a weekend, a week or even a month. Alternatively, commit to only buying Scottish meat and fish or only Scottish soft fruit. Make a point of asking where produce comes from in shops and express a preference for local goods. Most importantly, tell others what you are doing and be proud to be Eating for Scotland.
