
Simple Simons Pies
Simple Simons Pies takes a traditional Scottish product and gives it a great contemporary twist. From modern kitchens on the edge of the Southern Uplands, chef Bernard Alessi supplies shops and hotels with fresh pies using only the finest natural ingredients. On the menu local Blackface Sheep and Black Aberdeen Angus Beef along with sea raised Salmon and traditional haggis flavoured with single malt whisky, all encased in a special recipe puff pastry. "The pie is a favourite food in Scotland but it has developed a bad repuation and I want to prove, done well, it can be fantastic", says Bernard.
